Depending on the case, we offer an hourly rate, contingency fee or a flat rate. Typically, we operate on a flat rate basis, with uncontested matters ranging from $1,500-2,500; and contested matters ranging from $3,500 to $8,000. The flat rates allows for our clients to budget exactly what their case will cost without worrying about the cost of their case inflating into the tens of thousands of dollars. The prices vary depending on the case and facts. On hourly cases, attorney rates fall between $200-250 an hour, depending on the specific case. We keep detailed logs of our time on hourly cases. We break each our into ten equal parts and round down when in-between them. We provide our clients with a detailed breakdown of our time when billing clients. We only work for as long as a case requires, so you’ll never be overbilled for unproductive time. Final bills will include costs for copy, filing, messengers, hard costs and third-party research toolsWe also charge $200.00 an hour for guardian ad item work. Retainers must be paid upfront.
